Dr. Robert Elliott is licensed as a psychologist in both California and Hawaii. He received his doctorate from the University of Southern California (USC) and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Long Beach Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital. Dr. Elliott is Past President of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He is currently Coordinator of Continuing Education involving aviation and aerospace programs for the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. He has been awarded a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology from both the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and ABPP boarded in School Psychology He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Society of Aerospace Medicine. He is Founder and Director of the National Aviation Psychology Examiner Panel. Dr. Elliott serves as a neuropsychology/clinical psychology consultant for the FAA, most of the major airlines and pilot unions related to aviation mental health, neurocognitive and chemical dependency related manners. His clinical and research interests have focused on the long-term effects of drug and alcohol abuse, aging issues, and fitness for duty evaluations.
