Janet J. Yáñez MA, LMFT is a second-year Clinical Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow at the UCLA Hispanic Neuropsychiatric Center of Excellence (HNCE), Cultural Neuropsychology Program (CNP). She was previously a committee member of the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society’s (HNS) Social Justice and Advocacy Committee (SJAC). She serves as the co-chair of APA’s Division 20, Caregiving & Geriatric Health Care Workforce Special Interest Group (SIG). She is also a committee member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN) Professional Affairs And Information Committee (PAIC). Her areas of interests include promoting health equity, providing Spanish and Bilingual neuropsychological evaluations, neurorehabilitation, engaging in mental health advocacy, and continuing to develop research within the area of Latinx dementia caregiving.
